Gandamadana Parvatham also known as Rama Foot, is the highest point in Rameshwaram, bears the imprints of Lord Rama on a Chakra and the most beautiful part of this point is that, the whole of Rameshwaram Island is visible from here.

And it is located 3 KMS at the northern part of Ramanathaswamy temple. It is also believed that Rama stood on this point to search the whereabouts of Sita, while she was captured by Ravana.  Apart from this place, pilgrims visiting the Gandamadana Parvatham, can also visit Sukreevar Temple and Satchi Hanuman Temples on the way.
