Uthirakosamangai Temple – Ramanathapuram

Also known as Dhakshina Kailash, is located 15 KMS from Ramanathapuram. Saivite Manika Vasagar has sung praises of Lord Shiva of the Thiru Uthirakosamangai temple.

A rare idol of Nataraja statue in this temple is covered by Sandal all over the year except for one day, which is Arudhara Darshan Day. Large number of devotees gathers at the day of Arudhara Darshan, in the month of December to watch to idol of Nataraja.
